A week skiing in Verbier

Enjoying our week skiing in Verbier which is quite an upmarket resort in Switzerland.  Apparently Princess Eugenie has been here this week but we are not moving in the same circles so ha

ve not noticed her!!    There are a great variety of good runs ranging from easy greens to very demanding blacks and everything in between.  We have come here with Inghams and are staying at the Hotel Verbier.

The hotel is run by British people which I was quite surprised at.  Not quite as efficient as the Germans or French are at running this type of Hotel I feel but offering affordability for families I guess.  The food was of a good standard and the rooms all have a bath which is very welcome after a days skiing.  I haven’t really checked out the prices of others in the area to compare.

The views are stunning, with a view of Mont Blanc from one of the highest peaks – Mont Fort. Worth a visit even if not skiing down the very challenging black run!!  The Piste area is called The Four Valleys and it does offer a great variety of really good wide runs with good links between the runs and great places to eat lunch or après ski.  I would Come again.
